For the first time, a sports festival, purely for the enthusiasts, was held at NIT Warangal. The four-day event inaugurated by Professor Jayakumar KV on the 29th of March, saw participants from various states of the country. Tournaments were held for Kabaddi, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Chess Badminton and Football.
